I am deeply passionate about taking care of online communities, backed by extensive experience building Trust & Safety workflows from the ground up. This spans Legal Removals for IP, RTBF, Local Laws, and Copyrighted content, to enforcing Product Policies across all types of verticals. What do you consider to be your greatest professional achievement?

My most significant impact so far was directing the Trend Discovery & Risk Monitoring project at TikTok. I wanted to go beyond reactive moderation, so I built a proactive workflow that integrated Large Language Models with human review to successfully identify harmful trends early. Deploying this framework across three other regions allowed me to exponentially increase platform safety and drastically reduce the volume of critical incidents.

How do you handle stress, pressure, and tight deadlines?

Having navigated high pressure environments from nimble start ups to Big Tech, I have seen these situations enough times not to get scared. Rather than feeling the chaos when others might panic, my approach is to look at things from a calm perspective, knowing that any problem has a solution. That is when my analytical mindset kicks in to break complex issues down step by step. I use a simple pen and paper agenda to tune out the noise, prioritize my immediate next actions and long-term actions, and execute.

What is an area you are actively trying to improve?

My natural analytical mindset can sometimes lead me to over analyze data, and my deep passion for the work often makes it a struggle for me to say no, occasionally resulting in overcommitment. To actively manage this, I rely strongly on structured daily planning to set clear boundaries. The book CliftonStrengths taught me a valuable lesson: focusing on and amplifying your core strengths is far more impactful than obsessing over your weaknesses. By learning to step back from the data rabbit hole once I can make a confident decision, I am intentionally leaning into my strengths to maintain operational efficiency and high standards.
